Below Are The Steps I Used To Replace The Crankshaft Position Sensor.


The steps are for a 2004 nissan altima with a 2.5 liter engine. All the parts stores had the part for a 3.3l v6 98 pathfinder. Crank sensor on bell housing has one 10mm bolt i recommend using a 10mm wrench ,the axle shaft bolts are 14mm on both sides.

I Have Been Battling The Crankshaft Position Sensor Code For 3 Years And Replacing The Sensor On The Bell Of The Transmission Does Not Fix The Issue.

I Had A Hard Time Locating The Correct Sensor Until A Few People From This Forum Helped Me Out.


Under hood, driver side, front engine area, mounted rear of crankshaft pulley. The nissan pathfinder utilizes a crankshaft position sensor in order to regulate the engine timing. Under hood, center, front engine area, below intake manifold, mounted on block.

It Has A Ses Code P0335 (Crankshaft Position Sensor).
