Smartthings Multipurpose Sensor Not Working. They still show as online, however there is no temp reading and no changes when the doors are open/closed. However, about 8 or 9 days ago it stopped talking to the smartthings app.
1 delete the sensor on samsung smartthings home screen, tap multipurpose sensor > tap more (3 vertical dots on the top right) > edit > delete device Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Smartthings device does not respond or the status is disconnected or incorrect if a smart device's status is stuck in a particular state, appears offline, or does not respond to an action, you can try checking the power to your hub, performing a reset, or doing other troubleshooting steps.
Just Purchased Smartthings Hub V2 And 4 Multi Sensors.
If that's not the problem, i'd try a new battery in the sensor. The Issue Is I'm Seeing No Activity Light On The Unit, For The Motion Sensor I Should Be Seeing A Green Light Once The Battery Is Installed, Which I Don't.
While initially everything worked excellent and i can see everything in homekit there is a problem. Vibration is detected every ~1h even if sensor is not moved. If it is set up correctly, you should see an entry in the sensor's reporting tab with cluster manuspecificsamsung and attribute acceleration , and zigbee message debug logs should.
